Subject:funk 45 tribute mix to Mr. James Brown.
Time:11:17 pm.
after waking up this morning and hearing the sad news - i had to go through all my JB records (like im sure a lot of you have done) have a listen, and pay some respects.

here's what i put together a few hours ago, to help celebrate the legacy of soul brother #1.

this isnt all funk - i wanted to encompass a number of 45s from throughout his career - from records early on, to records we all know and love.

so have a download, check out the 45s, crack open a drink, and raise your glass in tribute to the godfather of soul.

Subject:Pics from London Trip!
Time:3:16 pm.
ok so im sure you've seen some of the ones on my myspace profile - heres a few more.

it was a great 5 days of seeing old friends, making new ones - seeing the sights, and drinking lots and lots of beer.

good times.

big ben.

the london eye.

the view from atop the eye.

trafalgar square.

this was at the tate modern.  one of the installments there was a series of giant slides.  i rode the level 4 slide one of the highest ones.  scared the hell out of me - but fun at the same time.

heres the aftermath - that thing was hiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

Ceiri and i being generally silly.  with St Paul's Catherdral in the background.

yes you read that right.

another beer? sure.

all in all a great trip, and a great break from the shit thats going on with me at the moment.  ive come back with a clear head, ready to take on whatever comes along.

i also wish i never left.  but thats more the reason to go visiting again. :)
